First Necklace

First necklace has been created. It was a little challengin since this is my first attempt at wire wrapping, but the opal really spoke to me and this awesome design came about. I'm pretty satisfied with my first creation.

So my last shipment of opals that I was waiting for has finally arrived and I am not disappointed. I'll definitely consider ordering from these folks in the future if this project really kicks off ^_^ I have a large number of necklaces to make and let me tell you the creative juices are flowing. I can't wait!

Right now I am still waiting for my opals to arrive from Australia, but soon! Hopefully they will be here this week so I can start making my necklaces :s

I know this isn't really a lot, but what can you do? Just so you know I will probably blog here daily once I start making the necklaces. Probably to vent. I'm so excited to get this going!
